Roughly a year after this initial root pruning effort, the Big Trees crews returned to the property to finish root balls on both trees and move them to the new headquarters. The Japanese Maple was in a difficult position to reach, which called for an extendable boom forklift to fish it out to the flatbed truck for transport. Once the trees arrived at the new location, a tower crane was used to lift the trees off the flatbed truck and into their new garden locations.
“Our services and crews can make projects like this come together seamlessly for our clients. There are a lot of intricacies involved in this kind of work, and while it’s not rocket science, having a team that heads off difficulties with this scale of landscaping is always appreciated.” said Todd Holmes, Big Trees’ operations manager.
